Stages Of The Competition

Stage 1: In-Dealership
(June 19 – August 25, 2023)

Each of your Sales Consultants will compete and showcase their Outlander PHEV vehicle presentation skills in person at your dealership. To assist their efforts, consider taking on the role of the customer identified in the video below. The winner from your dealership will be selected by your District Operations Manager.

NEW for 2023: Only Sales Consultants who are Triple Diamond Training Certified will be eligible to move on to the next round of the competition.

Note: If one of your Sales Consultants advances to the National Final, you will be invited to attend the final event in Niagara Falls, Ontario!

Stage 2: Territory Selection
(August 28 – 31, 2023)

Your District Operations Manager and an independent panel of judges will determine the top TWO walkaround presentations from across the Territory. First place winners will advance to the next round.

Note: If a Sales Consultant from your dealership places first in the Territory selection you will win $100!

NEW for 2023: Second place winners will be placed into a draw for the chance to compete at the National Final Competition in October as a Wild Card Competitor.

If a Sales Consultant from your dealership is drawn as the Wild Card Competitor for the National Final, you will be invited to attend the National Final in Niagara Falls, Ontario as their guest.

Note: Only Sales Consultants who are Triple Diamond Training Certified will be eligible to move onto the next round of the competition.

Stage 3: Semi-Finals
(September 1 – 22, 2023)

Your Sales Consultant will have the opportunity to hone their video presentation skills and submit their best 5-minute video walkaround presentation in response to a new Outlander PHEV customer. Make sure your Sales Consultant brings their “A” game as only the top THREE submissions from across the country will be invited to participate in the National Final Competition.

Note: If a Sales Consultant from your dealership places first in the Semi-Final you will win $500 and you will be invited to accompany them to the Finals in Niagara Falls, Ontario!

NEW for 2023: Second place winners will be placed into a draw for the chance to compete at the National Final Competition in October as a Wild Card Competitor.

If your Sales Consultant is selected as a Wild Card Competitor, you will be invited to accompany them to the Finals in Niagara Falls, Ontario!

Stage 4: National Finals
(October 22 – 24, 2023)

Your Sales Consultant will enjoy an exciting two-night, all-expenses paid stay at the Hilton Niagara Falls in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Make sure they are well prepared, as they will be interacting with a live customer!

Note: If a Sales Consultant from your dealership advances to the Final, you will be eligible to accompany them to the event in Niagara Falls, Ontario to cheer them on! It’s a two-night, all expenses-paid trip to recognize your exemplary management and coaching skills.

The Challenge:

Watch the customer video below with your Sales Consultant. Help them get to know Masahiro and understand what he wants and needs. (HINT: he’s considering an Outlander PHEV GT).

Help them prepare to give a 5-minute compelling walkaround VIDEO presentation (maximum 1GB), leveraging all the available tools including MiShowroom and the training materials found on Go Far Academy.

Communication:

Position the Semi-Final stage of the competition as an opportunity for your Sales Consultant to hone their video presentation skills, to demonstrate their presentation skills in conjunction with MiShowroom, and to display their knowledge of the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV.

Ensure your Sales Consultant has reviewed their 2023 Full Circle Competition Website and briefly review the final two stages of the competition, the competition format, the rules and the awards.

Preparation:

Ensure an Outlander PHEV GT is available for them to conduct their walkaround, and help to prepare your showroom to facilitate a high-quality video submission (i.e. proper lighting, sound, cleanliness, etc.).

Note: To ensure fairness and consistency in the judging process, all competitors will be responding to Masahiro. The panel of judges will evaluate each participant’s video submission using scoring criteria provided by MMSCAN and will determine the Semi-Final winner to represent your Region at the National Finals.

With the wealth of information out there, chances are Masahiro has already narrowed his consideration list to include the Outlander PHEV.
