Stages Of The Competition

Stage 1: In-Dealership
(June 19 – August 25, 2023)

Get ready to compete with your fellow Sales Consultants and showcase your Outlander PHEV vehicle presentation skills in person at your dealership. You will be required to complete a vehicle walkaround presentation using MiShowroom (on a tablet). The winner from your dealership will be selected by your District Operations Manager.

NEW for 2023: Only Sales Consultants who are Triple Diamond Training Certified will be eligible to advance to the next round of the competition.

 

Stage 2: Territory Selection
(August 28 – 31, 2023)

Your District Operations Manager and an independent panel of judges will determine the top TWO walkaround presentations from across the Territory. First place winners will advance to the next round.

NEW for 2023: Second place winners will be placed into a draw for the chance to compete at the National Final Competition in October as a Wild Card Competitor.

Note: Only Sales Consultants who are Triple Diamond Training Certified will be eligible to move on to the next round of the competition.

Stage 3: Semi-Finals
(September 1 – 22, 2023)

Hone your video presentation skills and submit your best 5-minute video walkaround presentation in response to a new Outlander PHEV customer. Make sure you bring your “A” game as only the top THREE submissions from across the country will be invited to participate in the National Finals Competition.

NEW for 2023: Second place winners will be placed into a draw for the chance to compete at the National Final Competition in October as a Wild Card Competitor. A total of four Sales Consultants will advance to the National Final. 

Note: Only Sales Consultants who are Triple Diamond Training Certified will be eligible to move on to the next round of the competition.

Stage 4: National Finals
(October 22 – 24, 2023)

Enjoy an exciting two-night, all-expenses paid stay at the Hilton Niagara Falls in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Make sure you know your Outlander PHEV inside and out, as you will be interacting with a live customer for your chance to win $3,000!

Eligibility:

All Full Circle Sales Consultants must be Triple Diamond Training Certified in order to be eligible to advance through each stage of the Full Circle Competition.

The Challenge:

Watch the customer video below. Get to know Sarah and understand what she wants and needs. (HINT: she’s considering an Outlander PHEV GT Premium).

Preparation:

Using MiShowroom and the available training resources on GoFar Academy, prepare a comprehensive and engaging vehicle walkaround presentation that addresses what Sarah is looking for, as determined by your Needs Assessment.

Your Presentation:

Leveraging MiShowroom, showcase your product knowledge and customer handling skills with a 15-minute compelling walkaround presentation for your District Operations Manager, demonstrating why the Outlander PHEV GT Premium is perfectly suited to Sarah’s needs.

Note: To ensure fairness and consistency in the judging process, all competitors will be responding to Sarah. Your District Operations Manager will evaluate each participant’s walkaround presentation using scoring criteria provided by MMSCAN and will determine the winner at your dealership.

Ensure your vehicle walkaround presentation will help Sarah understand WHY the Outlander PHEV is the perfect vehicle for her, and how it will enhance her daily life. By doing so, it will show her that you are knowledgeable, trustworthy, and that you have her best interests at heart.

To prepare for your presentation, review available resources on Go Far Academy and MiShowroom for the 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV GT Premium. Also review the numerous 3rd party reviews available – especially on YouTube – to help understand what Sarah may already know about the Outlander PHEV.

Take the time to practice with a colleague, and ensure you are ready to not only review the numerous features and advantages that the Outlander PHEV GT Premium holds, but be prepared to handle any objections that Sarah may have.

When designing your presentation, begin with Sarah’s “must haves”, then move on to explain how the Outlander PHEV can provide even more value that she may not have expected. Listen carefully to what she has to say and follow her lead during your conversation.
