Steps for Success

Steps for Success

Stage 1: In-Dealership Competition

Eligibility:

All Full Circle participants must be Diamond Training Certified in order to be eligible to advance past the In-Dealership stage of the competition and participate in the National Final in October.

Communication:

Be sure to communicate all aspects of the Competition to your Service Advisors – before, during and after the event. Position the competition as an opportunity for Service Advisors to demonstrate their service knowledge and customer handling skills by completing an effective service write-up followed by an exceptional active delivery for your District Operations Manager in conjunction with MiCar (or your dealership’s Customer Experience Management platform).

Ensure Service Advisors have reviewed their 2023 Full Circle Competition website and briefly review the four stages of the competition, the competition format, the rules and the awards.

Preparation:

Ensure your Service Team has completed all available Product Knowledge training and is Diamond Training Certified. Also ensure an Outlander PHEV is available for them to conduct their walkaround in front of your District Operations Manager.

The Challenge:

Watch the customer video below with your Service Team. Help them get to know Rohan and understand his concerns. Help them prepare to give a 15-minute presentation, leveraging all the available tools including MiCar (or your dealership’s Customer Management platform), the training materials found on Go Far Academy, and the Triple Diamond Service Experience (TDSE) Resource Guide.

Note: To ensure fairness and consistency in the judging process, all competitors will be responding to Rohan. Your District Operations Manager will evaluate each participant’s walkaround presentation using scoring criteria provided by MMSCAN and will determine the winner at your dealership.

BEST PRACTICES

Consider the following Best Practices when preparing your service write-up and active delivery presentation:

Ensure your Service Advisors’ presentations will help set Rohan’s mind at ease by explaining what you believe is happening with his Outlander PHEV. By offering a transparent and comprehensive explanation, your Service Advisors will show him that they are knowledgeable, trustworthy, and that they have his best interests at heart.

Encourage your Service Advisors to review all of the available resources on Go Far Academy and the Triple Diamond Service Experience (TDSE) Resource Guide.

Allocate time and encourage your Service Advisors to practice with a colleague, and ensure they are ready to not only review the concerns that Rohan has expressed, but are prepared to “right sell” additional customer pay parts or labour required to ensure Rohan’s complete satisfaction.

Pump up the excitement for the 2023 Full Circle Competition!  Encourage participation and engagement by reviewing the awards your Service Advisors will be competing for as well as any individual category awards your dealership will offer.
